I'm sure I don't have to inform you guys that deviantART'S obviously different. I'm sure you've all seen it.
Quite honestly, I like it. I'm just surprised a lot of people are complaining about it. It's actually quite easy to navigate once you take the time to get used to it.

.Art Inspiration/Mecha/Watercolors
I already knew this before I even made the attempt, but mecha is fucking hard to draw. It's driving me nuts. Go figure that it's hard for me: I've never drawn mecha before (I'm not big on it). I'm not necessarily talented with drawing things technological, either, so of course mecha is going to be a challenge for me.
I've decided I should practice that for a while. I do need to get Tai that TTGL picture he requested of me a long-ass time ago. _{Thanks for being so patient with me, babe. <3 I am trying.}

Aside from the mecha art complications, I seem to have been hit with a brick of art inspiration.
The past couple of weeks have been frustrating for me. Every time I tried to drawing something human, it never turned out right, and the proportions were just ungodly. The only thing close enough to a person that I could draw in that span of time was a chibi, and if you'll remember, I was never too happy with the way I drew those. After drawing them for the last few days, however, just to avoid becoming miffed with myself when I couldn't draw a regular person, I've come to like the way I draw chibis...*
Now that I have the inspiration to draw humans again, I feel more confident about it and those little chibis you all seem to love somehow. _{I'm kidding, I really do like them now. They're... cute. :]
*My darling fox made a good point: Whether they're proportional or not, my chibis have a lot of detail when you look at 'em thoroughly. And you all know how I love detail.}

Okay, watercolors: I give up on them, at least for now. I just don't like the way I use them, or rather, I'm never satisfied with the way my pieces turn out when I use them. So for now I'll just stick with my godsend prismacolor markers. <3 I still need to practice with those anyway, even if just a little bit more.

This Sunday (July 13th), I leave to spend a week at my father's, and I don't return until the 21st. So... don't expect anything from me that entire week. :/
I'm not exactly thrilled, but I do hope that my favorite and kindest aunt will have enough time to teach me how to drive. I've yet to do that and I said I would...

Well, Mistress has returned... again.

To refresh memories that are actually interested, my family and I left for Texas on the sixteenth of June. We arrived at the house just before midnight of the seventeenth.
I can pretty much tell you now that I loathe being in a car for more than an hour by this point, unless it's with someone fun.
Big indicator on how eventful the drive over here was.

I won't get big on details, as I'm tired and have a huge headache, but I will tell you that the house—which once belonged to my mother's husband's now-deceased mother (if you'll recall, she passed away back in December)—was in more-than-horrible shape. If you want to know, I suppose you can ask, albeit it's not pretty.

It's been more than week since we got here now, and we've fixed it up to where it's... decently livable. But I still can't stand it here.
It makes me sad. Makes me angry. I absolutely loathe it here, more than I thought I would, in all honesty.

I suppose that, daily-living wise, aside from the move itself, nothing much has changed, and for some reason it quite saddens me. My brothers are still obsessed with videogames, I still sit at my computer doing nothing or chatting or drawing or just browsing deviantWHATEVER, and Mother still treats us all like we're either house slaves or little children that never grew past the age of five. Maybe younger.

That's another thing, my mother. You're probably all tired of hearing me bitch about her, but believe it or not, my relationship with her has only worsen.
WOW, WHO SAW THAT COMING, RIGHT?
She's unbearable by this point. She constantly wants to drag us off to do family-oriented things, a.k.a. things that any normal mother wouldn't let her child do because it would embarrass the shit out of said child. But, you know my mother: Screw what you think, feel, and want, and you'll do as I say and enjoy it, whether you truly enjoy it or not.
It's such a shame that the one adult that used to be my best friend turned out to be my most hated enemy. It's quite saddening, but by this point she's repulsed me so much that I'm glad I can get away from her whenever I do.
Considering she's not looking for a job until probably September, maybe even October, that's not going to be often, for a long time.

As for art and literature I owe, yeah, I'm still working on that. I'm very slow on it this summer...

What more can I tell you, guys? Really. I'm trying to get things done. I'm trying not to feel like anybody is pressuring me to get those things done. How can I successfully do all that when my life has taken such a huge turn, one that I didn't even come close to asking for?

I miss my baby so much. I left my heart back with him, and I'm guessing that I took his with me. It saddens me, the distance, being so far away from him... He's all I think about now.

And of course, my darling mother thinks I should just get over it.
What an intolerable fuck.

Mmh, well... I'll try, guys. Hopefully I can get everything done before the summer is over and school starts up again (I am not looking forward to my new school, by the way. As decent-looking as it is on the outside, I've already gotten weird looks from the kids I've seen inside taking summer school. I've already even pinpointed the enemies I'm pretty sure I'll make.), but considering the fact that Mother just insists on dragging us wherever the hell she feels like it, I'm not entirely sure if that'll be possible.

I suppose that's it. Whatever art and writing I conjured up while we were unpacking, I'll get those to you one step at a time.

Some dates you should remember for right now, for those of you actually keeping up:

+ July 13th through July 21st: I will be in Oklahoma, visiting my biological father. I'm not entirely thrilled, especially since the man has almost no idea who I am anymore and he never bothers trying to keep up with his kids' lives anyway.

If anymore come up, I'll let you know. I'm pretty sure there will be plenty, courtesy of my lunatic mother.

...I hate the way I just wrote that entire journal.
I'm too tired to neaten it up.
